Purpose-built rectangular, gasketed pressure fixture for ASTM D5385 hydrostatic pressure resistance testing of waterproofing membranes, including assemblies bonded to concrete substrates.
Rigid chamber and clamping bracket create a flat, uniform compression of the membrane and substrate using a continuous flat gasket , replicating the standard’s sealing method and minimizing edge leakage/false failures.
Configurable for membrane-only or membrane-on-substrate testing; includes substrate support and spacer system to accommodate concrete blocks or manufacturer-specified backings according to the method.
Service-friendly construction with replaceable flat gaskets and fastener hardware; safety features include mechanical relief and over-pressure interlock suited to prolonged dwells at elevated pressures.
